HC Deb 23 March 1953 vol 513 c55W
49. Mr. John Hall

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs on what grounds it has been decided to close the British Hospital in Paris.

Mr. Nutting

No decision has yet been taken by the Committee of the hospital in regard to the hospital's future; but it is likely that it will have to be closed unless it can continue to be maintained either from local income or from donations from this country towards its running expenses.
