asked the Minister of Labour what progress is being made in the provision of presentable new protective masks for women in factories; and what action will be taken to encourage factory managements to adopt such masks to ensure the utmost protection to women and girls.

I am not aware of any general action on this subject. If the hon. Member will be good enough to send me information as to the particular case or kind of work he has in mind, I will have inquiries made.
