§ 81. Mr. Remnantasked the Minister of Works where he employs the prisoner-of-war labour referred to in the Trading and Profit and Loss Account of the Building Materials and Housing Fund for the year ended 31st March, 1952; and what is their nationality.
§ Mr. EcclesThe Account relates to the work done by prisoners-of-war on preparing housing sites for local authorities from 1945 to 1948. They were nearly all German, but a few were Italians. The settlement of these Accounts with local authorities is nearing completion.
