asked the Minister of Transport when he will be able to give a decision in the case of the appeal by Northern Roadways on their application for a service between Birmingham and Glasgow.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

The inquiry into these appeals will open on 24th March, and I will give my decision as soon as possible after receipt of the inspector's report.
