HC Deb 12 March 1953 vol 512 cc149-50W
Sir D. Robertson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give the address to which claims against the Lord Mayor's National Flood and Tempest Distress Fund are to be sent.

Mr. J. Stuart

In most areas in Scotland applications for assistance from the Lord Mayor's Fund should be submitted to the county clerk of the area concerned, but in Sutherland they should be sent to the Secretary, Lord Lieutenant's Relief Committee, County Planning Office, Dornoch; in Aberdeenshire to the Clerk, Lord Lieutenant's Relief Committee, Canada House, 201, Union Street, Aberdeen; and in Caithness to the Chief Welfare Officer, County Offices, Wick. There are special arrangements for dealing with agricultural claims; and applicants should apply to the Department of Agriculture for Scotland, St. Andrew's House, Edinburgh, for information.
