HC Deb 09 March 1953 vol 512 cc91-2W
Sir G. Hutchinson

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether those members of the Royal Observer Corps who stood down at the end of the war, with the obligation to return if called upon to do so, and subsequently resumed service upon the re-formation of the corps, will be permitted to count the period of the stand down as service qualifying for the award of the Royal Observer Corps medal.
