§ Mr. GammansSeparate figures for the Abbey Wood area are not available, but on the Woolwich and Erith exchanges 3,590 applications were outstanding at 31st December, 1952. Three hundred and sixty-six lines were provided in 1952 and I hope that about 1,500 lines will be provided this year.
