§ Mr. Bullardasked the Minister of Agriculture the total sums which have been paid in grants and loans towards grass and forage drying plants under Section 5 of the Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1949; to how many plants these related; and what was the amount paid in grants in 1952.
§ Sir T. DugdaleThe total sums paid were £286,395 17s. Od. in grants and £726,544 15s. 3d. in loans. A total of 128 projects were assisted. The amount of grants paid in 1952 was £25,787 19s. 6d.
