Mr. BraithwaiteThe expenditure on highways, excluding loan charges, per head of the population was £1 3s. 10d. 5W in 1922–23, £1 3s. 11d. in 1932–33, £1 12s. 9d. in 1950–1. I regret that figures for the war years are not available.
