Mr. Marples

My right hon. Friend is aware of this scheme, which was carried out with the aid of an improvement grant under the Housing Act, 1949. He is convinced that there is great scope for improvements of this kind all over the country, and is considering ways and means of encouraging more applications for improvement grants.
