HC Deb 25 June 1953 vol 516 c172W
Mr. Vaughan-Morgan

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when the decision was taken not to prosecute the two officers, formerly in the Trinidad Service, involved in the failure of the Caura Dam Scheme.

Mr. Lyttelton

The question of prosecution has not arisen. The conclusion that no useful purpose would be served by taking disciplinary proceedings in these cases was conveyed to the Governor in November, 1951.
