HC Deb 25 June 1953 vol 516 c155W
Brigadier Medlicott

asked the Minister of Health if he is aware of the cases where the use of penicillin is producing undesirable after-effects on patients; and if he will cause the position to be examined with a view to ascertaining whether penicillin should not be used more sparingly and where its use is either essential or extremely desirable and not where its main value is to effect a quick cure.

Miss Hornsby-Smith

My right hon. Friend is not aware of the cases referred to. If my hon. and gallant Friend will give me particulars I will have them looked into.
