HC Deb 25 June 1953 vol 516 c161W
65. Mrs. Braddock

asked the Minister of Health if, in view of the fact that arrangements are being made in various hospital regional areas to extend by building additional accommodation for mental and mental defective patients, he will make available to these hospital boards knowledge of the type of accommodation provided at Woodilee Mental Hospital at Kirkintilloch, Dumbartonshire, Scotland, the report on the experimental nature of this accommodation, and its success.

Miss Hornsby-Smith

My right hon. Friend is aware of the accommodation referred to, but is advised that it is not of such a character as would justify his adopting the hon. Lady's suggestion.
