HC Deb 24 June 1953 vol 516 c143W
65. Mr. Harris

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General how many requests for telephones still remain outstanding in the borough of Heston and Isleworth.

Mr. Gammans

One thousand four hundred and twenty-one applications were outstanding on the 31st March, 1953, including 143 in course of provision. This figure, I am glad to say, shows a reduction of 509 as compared with the corresponding period last year.
