asked the President of the Board of Trade the total quantities of new potatoes imported weekly for the six weeks commencing 4th May, showing Channel Island supplies separately.

These figures are available for complete calendar months only. Imports of new potatoes during May amounted to 914,000 cwt. of which 176,000 cwt. were sent from the Channel Islands.
