HC Deb 22 June 1953 vol 516 cc118-9W
102. Mr. Proctor

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs the present position regarding compensation from the Albanian Government for the murder of British seamen in the mining incident; and what special compensation the Government intends to make to the dependants of the deceased British seamen.

Mr. Nutting

As regards the first part of the Question, I have nothing to add to my right hon. and learned Friend's reply to the hon. Member for Enfield, East (Mr. Ernest Davies) on 10th of June. As regards the second part of the Question, I understand that compensation in respect of the Corfu Channel incident has been paid under normal pensions arrangements.
