HC Deb 17 June 1953 vol 516 c65W
66. Mr. Awbery

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when the last periodic inspection took place of the Kandang Kerbau Women's Hospital, Singapore; if he is satisfied that the accommodation and facilities provided are up to the standard required; and how it compares with similar hospitals in Great Britain as regards operating facilities.

Mr. Lyttelton

The Governor tells me that he is not satisfied with the present accommodation and facilities at the hospital. But a start has already been made on improvements under the medical plan. These should, during the coming year, bring the hospital up to the latest standards in this country.
