HC Deb 17 June 1953 vol 516 c73W
105. Mr. Hayman

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General how many applicants for telephones at Redruth are still waiting for them; and what prospects they have of getting telephones soon.

Mr. Gammans

One hundred and one applications were outstanding on 31st March, 1953, including 20 in course of provision. We hope to provide additional cables during the next two years and this will enable us to meet the bulk of the remaining applications.
