HC Deb 16 June 1953 vol 516 cc54-6W
Mr. Perkins

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air what arrangements will be made to enable Members of this House to see the Royal Review of the Royal Air Force.

Mr. Ward

A number of Members will receive individual invitations to the Air Council enclosure at Odiham, and a further 200 places in it will be reserved for other Members and their ladies, Luncheon and transport will be provided.

Members who wish to attend are asked to write their names in the book in the office of the Speaker's Secretary not later than Friday, 26th June. Each Member will be able to apply for two seats, but if more Members apply than there are seats available it may be necessary to hold a ballot.

My noble Friend regrets that it is not possible to extend an invitation to all Members of the House to attend the Review, but the number of places available is limited by the small area on the airfield from which it will be possible to see the ground parades.
