§ Sir A. Bossomasked the Minister of Agriculture if he will arrange to have an independent person, who is not committed by any previous Departmental decision, to act as assessor when it is proposed to requisition good agricultural land for whatever purpose.
§ Sir T. DugdaleI have considered this suggestion and many others for improving the machinery for dealing with cases involving the loss of agricultural land. So far none has come to light which would be more effective than the present safeguards against the diversion of land from agriculture.
