HC Deb 11 June 1953 vol 516 c23W
6. Mr. G. Thomas

asked the Minister of Education whether she is aware of the overcrowding in Cardiff schools which has resulted in children being refused admission to school at five years of age; and whether she will make a statement.

Miss Horsbrugh

My information is that no child has been required to await admission to Cardiff primary schools to a later date than the commencement of the term after the fifth birthday.
