HC Deb 31 July 1953 vol 518 c232W
Brigadier Medlicott

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General if he will take steps to improve television reception in Norfolk by increasing the power of the transmitting stations at Alexandra Palace and Sutton Coldfield.

Mr. Gammans

I am informed by the B.B.C. that television reception in Norfolk would not be improved to any extent by increasing the power of these transmitters. Improvement can be achieved only by providing a new station.
