asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether Her Majesty's Government have reached a decision regarding the introduction of legislation on the subject of Royal Irish Constabulary pensions.

Yes. It is proposed to introduce legislation authorizing an increase in the pensions of certain widows of former members of the Royal Irish Constabulary and the award of a pension to certain other widows whose husbands served in the force, but who are not at present entitled to a pension.
