§ Sir T. DugdaleThe quantity of lime applied by farmers in Glamorgan during the twelve months ended 30th June, 1953, was 23,000 tons and for the previous year 19,000 tons; the corresponding figures for Wales were 289,000 tons and 279,000 tons respectively.
