§ 89. Mr. T. Reidasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what measures he proposes for the protection of the pensions of public servants and of their widows' pensions when the proposed constitutional changes occur in the Gold Coast.
§ Mr. LytteltonI have not yet received the proposals of the Gold Coast Government for constitutional reform but would, meanwhile, draw the hon. Member's attention to the guarantee of pensions to overseas officers which was given by the Prime Minister of the Gold Coast in his statement on the Public Service on 8th July.
