§ Mr. Llewellynasked the Minister of Health what support the Welsh Board of Health is giving to the Old People's Week in Wales from 6th–12th September.
§ Miss Hornsby-SmithThe Board have co-operated from the outset with the Old People's Welfare Committee who, under the auspices of the Welsh Council for Social Service, are organising this special 173W week. The Board have issued a circular commending the movement to local authorities in Wales and indicating how they may help. In collaboration with the Central Office of Information they are gathering material for a public display poster to be printed by Her Majesty's Stationery Office in English and Welsh to illustrate various activities of old people and what is being done for them throughout Wales.
