asked the Minister of Food the number of fat cattle, sheep and pigs purchased by his Department in Dorset during the last 12 months; and how the figure compares with the two previous years.

In the financial year 1952–53, about 48 million gallons and for the two previous years about 48.2 and 47 million gallons, respectively.
