Colonel Clarkeasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government why he has refused to authorise the Chailey Rural District Council to give a bulk supply of water to the Uckfield Rural District Council for distribution to the inhabitants of the Piltdown area.
§ Mr. MarplesI have not received any definite proposals for the Piltdown area to be supplied with water from Chailey Rural District. If I do so I am quite prepared to consider them.
