§ 93. Mrs. Mannasked the Minister of Labour what progress he has to report in improving the conditions in ironfoundries.
§ Mr. WatkinsonThe Chief Inspector of Factories continues to report that progress in this matter is being made. Moreover, as my right hon. and learned Friend announced at the time, a draft of regulations proposed to be made under the Factories Acts was published in January last. Since then the draft has been the subject of consultation with the organisations of employers and trade unions concerned and my right hon. and learned Friend is about to publish a revised draft which we hope will be generally acceptable to all concerned.
