asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many houses for farmworkers were built in the counties of Roxburgh and Selkirkshire in 1950, 1951 and 1952; and how many he anticipates will be completed in 1953.

The numbers of houses completed in Roxburgh county for agricultural workers were 26, 44 and 30 in 1950, 1951 and 1952 respectively, while 44 houses are expected to be completed this year. The corresponding figures for Selkirk county are 14, nil, 8 and 10.
