96. Mr. Marlowe

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how many judges of the Straits Settlements Supreme Court have since 1930 been compulsorily retired without any suggestion of ill-health, incompetence or unfitness for duty; and of these how many were so retired without their cases being referred to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.
