HC Deb 23 July 1953 vol 518 c57W
59. Mr. J. Johnson

asked the Minister of Education if she is aware of the serious lack of secondary education in South Warwickshire; and what steps she is taking to remedy this.

Miss Horsbrugh

I am aware that many senior children in South Warwickshire are being educated in all-age schools. I regret that I cannot spare building resources solely for the purpose of reorganising such schools. I have, however, included in the Warwickshire authority's programmes for 1953–54 and 1954–55 instalments of new secondary schools at Studley and Shipston-on-Stour, respectively, which will result in some reorganisation.
