§ 70. Mr. Peter Freemanasked the Minister of Food whether, in view of the shortage and necessity of a supply of prunes, he will arrange to import some from Yugoslavia pending obtaining such supplies from the United States of America.
Dr. HillThe Yugoslav 1952 crop was much below normal and none of it is now available. The 1953 crop will not be harvested until the late autumn, but my right hon. and gallant Friend will certainly consider the hon. Member's suggestion.
