85. Mr. R. H. Jenkinsasked the Minister of Works why visitors to Hampton Court during the times when the buildings are floodlit have to follow a fixed route, particularly as this route does not include the point from which the best view of the East Garden Front may be obtained.
§ Sir D. EcclesThe fixed route was arranged for the convenience of visitors and also to avoid damage to gardens and flower beds. If the hon. Member will let me know which special vantage point he has in mind, I will see whether it can be included.
