§ Sir D. EcclesThe total value of licences issued for new industrial work in the North Staffordshire area, during the past three months, amounted to £397,209. Among the larger projects included in this amount are the following

Tatton, Leek, factory extension—£55,000.Doulton & Co., Burslem, pottery extension—£22,600.Michelin Tyre Co., Stoke, extension—£27,500.No licences were issued for coking coal plant during this period.
