asked the Minister of Food what steps he proposes to take to arrest the deterioration in quality standards of eggs.

Dr. Hill

My right hon. and gallant Friend is not aware of any general deterioration in the quality standards of eggs.

62. Mr. Willey

asked the Minister of Food whether he will make a statement on the future marketing arrangements for eggs.

Dr. Hill

The interim arrangements have only been in operation since the end of March, and my right hon. and gallant Friend is not yet in a position to make a statement on the future.
