asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs how the fisheries dispute with Iceland now stands; and what steps he has taken during the last two months to have it resolved.

I would refer the hon. and learned Member to the reply given by my right hon. and learned Friend on 20th May to my hon. Friend the Member for Tynemouth (Miss Ward). As he then said, Her Majesty's Government have no further suggestions to make, and have so informed the Icelandic Government. They are, however, willing to consider at any time any constructive proposals which might be put forward by the Icelandic Government.
