HC Deb 02 July 1953 vol 517 c45W
Mr. Pryde

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland the Government's intentions in regard to the Glentress School of Forestry.

Mr. J. Stuart

The condition of the temporary huts at Glentress is such as to make their further use as training premises uneconomic. The Forestry Commission propose therefore to transfer the Forester Training School to Perthshire, where more suitable accommodation and more extensive facilities for practical training are available.
