§ Mr. NugentThe figures for England and Wales in 1950 and 1951 were138W 1,424,000 and 1,307,000 acres, respectively, and these acreages included lucerne which was then grouped with temporary grass. In 1952, when lucerne was separately returned, the figure for the remaining temporary grass was 1,273,000 acres.
