§ Mr. MackesonDuring the first half of 1953, imports of nylon stockings are being admitted under quota from the sterling area; from Western European and certain other foreign countries; and also, under the Token Import Scheme, from Canada and the United States of America. The quotas for this period from all sources amount to about £100,000 and, if fully used, would represent imports of some half a million pairs of nylon stockings.
