§ Mr. Turner-Samuelsasked the Minister of Agriculture the sum paid each year in the way of educational grants or otherwise through his Department, directly or indirectly, to the Cirencester Agricultural College.
§ Sir T. DugdaleMaintenance grants made by my Department to agricultural colleges vary from year to year according to circumstances. In the current academic year no grant is being paid to the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. Capital grants are made from time to time and about £900 will be paid to the college this year. Some students at agricultural colleges receive scholarships from local education authorities, expenditure on which is grant-aided by the Ministry of Education.
