§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterFor the current financial year the Votes for the National Savings Committee and the Scottish Savings Committee totalled £942,884. In addition, they receive services from other Government Departments valued at just over £250,000. The official staff employed by the Movement on 1st January, 1953, was 343 men and 364 women.
