§ Major Lloyd GeorgeThe fieldwork of the National Food Survey has been conducted, under the general direction of my Department, by a market research organisation with wide experience of the techniques employed.
I do not inquire into the social status of the staff appointed by this organisation, as I am concerned only with their technical competence and the reliability of the results they obtain.
I have no doubt, however, that they are drawn from the same sections of the community as they were under the previous Administration.
