G.P.O. and Nationalised Industries (Expenditure)

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what capital expenditure has been approved in the current financial year for each of the nationalised industries and the General Post Office.

The figure for the G.P.O. are given in the Estimates. On the subject of the nationalised industries, I see no reason to depart from the practice, followed since 1951, of not publishing these figures.
