Pool Labour Scheme

asked the Minister of Agriculture what steps are being taken to prevent a repetition this year of the deficit on the Pool Labour Scheme of the county agricultural executive committees.

The scheme is being terminated. The number of counties running it has already been reduced from 14 last year to three this year, and arrangements for ending the scheme in these counties at an early date are now being made.
