asked the Minister of Food why the Confectionery (Records) Order, 1953. contained an error in the list although the reference on the explanatory note was correct: and what steps are taken to avoid such patent errors.

As the hon. Member is aware, all Orders are checked and counter-checked in my Department to secure accuracy, but an accident may occur despite the best safeguards, as the hon. Member will appreciate if he has noticed the error in his Question.
