DugdaleThree hundred and eighty grants and loans under the Inshore Fishing Industry Act, 1945, to English and Welsh fishermen for the purchase and reconditioning of boats and engines amounted to £180,360 and £329,390 respectively. One hundred and fifty-five loans have been repaid in full. The amount of loans outstanding is £193,486. A loss of £1,913 has been incurred on 10 loans. No estimate of possible future losses can be made.
