asked the Minister of Labour how many Remploy factories there are throughout the country; how many men are employed in them; and how many of these men are able-bodied.

There are 90 Remploy factories employing 7,582 workers, including staff. Of these, 6,130 are severely disabled and among the remaining 1,452 is a substantial number of less severely disabled persons.

asked the Minister of Labour the total number of men engaged in administrative and supervisory duties in Remploy factories; and what percentage of them is disabled.

The total number of men and women engaged as managers, clerks, foremen, charge-hands, storekeepers and canteen workers is 1,109, of whom 237 or 21 per cent. are disabled.
