asked the Minister of Food if he will reconsider his decision substantially to reduce allocations of sugar and fats to biscuit manufacturers and bakers, in view of the harmful effect it will have on the trade as well as the inevitability of price increases.

I think the hon. Member has been misinformed. So far from reducing allocations to these industries, I have recently been able to make some overall increases.
