§ Mr. R. A. ButlerThe raising or borrowing of money up to a sum not exceeding £50,000 within a period of twelve months does not require Treasury consent under the Control of Borrowing Order, 1947. It would be contrary to precedent and not in the public interest to give details of an application to the Capital Issues Committee.
